This Weekend head to Phagwara city to spend your vacation in the most exciting way!
Relax as you organize your weekend after terminal offering fun, relaxation and nature, scenic tours and everything that will revitalize you and your family to the fullest. One popular destination among tourists is Phagwara. Phagwara has been sighted in the Kapurthala region of northern India. This city is famous for its sizeable population which is inhabited by Nris (non-resident Indians). Phagwara can be seen in the middle of the bustling city of Punjab. Phagwara is on the Delhi-Amritsar National Highway #01. The city is surrounded by two true urban communities in Punjab, Ludhiana and Jalandhar. Planning a weekend getaway to Phagwara is sure to leave you with great memories. Is it one trip; Outing with friends or outing with family, Phagwara captivates everyone.
It's also great for learning the history and updates about the locations you plan to use for your trip. A little bit of information will make your weekend getaway to Phagwara even more exciting.
Phagwara was created by the famous historical ruler of India, Shah Jahan. The city was built as a trading city, but over time people started cultivating crops and soon it became a province. Currently, Phagwara is the main mechanical area in Kapurthala district. The reason Phagwara is a modern hub is its prominent area of national roads. The trading businesses that thrived in Phagwara's womb included materials, auto parts, machine tools, and horticultural and agricultural administration. Due to the large number of Punjabi NRIs in the city, Phagwara is also known as the NRI City.
Must visit spots throughout your weekend vacation for Phagwara:
• Shiv Mandir: The shrine provides a significant dose of otherworldly and also recorded imperativity. The temple was built by the Nawabs of Sultanpur Lodhi and is located at Gur Mandi near Imana Nasir's tomb. The shrine displays a pleasing mix of Muslim-Hindu building patterns, a particularly obvious amalgamation as the main entrance to the shrine has an implied mosque style, while all that remains of the shrine is purely Hindu in style.

• Devi Talab Mandir: Just one kilometer from the train station, this temple has been renovated and another temple is located in the center. This temple is famous for Hariballabh Sangeet Sammelan which is held every December for last 125 years. At Devi Talab there is a magnificent 200 year old stone cistern dedicated by Hindus.
• Gurdwara Chhevin Padshahi: The building was celebrated when the sixth guru of Sikhs, Guru Hargobind, went to Jalandhar and was persuaded by a blessed example of piety named Sheikh Darvesh. The Gurdwara Chhevin Padshahi was arranged at the same place where the gathering took place. Tourists visit this place for an express handwritten copy of Sri Guru Granth Sahib made between 1715 and 1728 by the outstanding Sikh scholar and holy man Baba Deep Singh.
