•    Assi ghat- This is still the famous Varanasi ghat, located at the confluence of the Holy Ganges and Asi Rivers. This ghat is famous for its huge and impressive Shiva Lingam placed under a peepal tree.

•    Dharbhanga ghat- This is a famous holy ghat which is known as a perfect place for Hindu devotees to perform religious rituals associated with the death of colleagues and relatives.

•    Durga sanctuary-  This temple was built in the eighteenth century by the Maharani of Bengal and the main deity of this temple is the goddess Durga.
